ProGen is a collaboration platform. Here, we encourage researchers, business people, consultants and other professionals from distinct areas to share, discuss and find solutions that generate an added value from scientific knowledge and channel it towards the well being of the Mexican population.

The activities carried out in ProGen are known as Technological Transfer. This implies assembling the results obtained from research and verifying that they are potentially able to:

• Satisfy a certain need or solve a concrete problem
• Be implemented and self-sustainable.

Within this process, it is important to generate benefits for all parties involved in the process.

We promote business projects that, for the most part, contribute innovative solutions through the use of knowledge and/or biotechnologies.

The two functional mainstays of ProGen are the Intellectual Property Unit and the Business Incubator. These two areas establish custom-made support services to guarantee a maximum likelihood of success for each project.
